...another school year up and running! And let me just say, getting to know 300 students is no small feat. Fortunately, I already know a good handful of them very well from having taught them previously, and I know several others relatively well simply from having spent the past 6 years here at EVE. Needless to say, I still find it necessary to familiarize myself with the vast majority of the students, and so we spent our first days together connecting names to faces and going over routines and expectations.
As the students now begin to make their way into their first official 3-day rotation, we will be taking care of some business tasks that will pay of greatly in the long run. Each student is responsible for setting up his own STEM lab notebook. It's a big job, but the notebook will serve as an invaluable tool for documenting student thinking and learning throughout the year.
I cannot wait to see these students grow and learn and blossom. Here's to a great school year!

Dear Ms. Bondurant,
I can't wait to see the Intermediate students in action! Can I come and be part of the action?
Mr. Saponaro
